Knowsley Housing Trust provides approximately
14,000 homes, primarily within the Borough of Knowsley on Merseyside. They offer
a range of housing stock which includes; houses, bungalows, sheltered housing schemes,
as well as low rise and multi-storey accommodation.
The Problem
Prior to AiDA, Knowsley Housing Trust monitored its Aids
and Adaptations processes via excel spreadsheets. Due to the complexity and different
elements of work that make up the Aids and Adaptations process, the use of spreadsheets became difficult to monitor, report on, and was time consuming to update
and manipulate. As a continually developing organisation the Trust recognised the
need for a more user friendly, flexible and robust system.
The Brief
To design a system that provides up to date information
on waiting lists, finances and a register of adapted properties. It must be built
with maintenance and development in mind and provide a mutli choice reporting tool allowing a host of different reports to be generated; in line with the organisations
performance indicators.
In addition the system must be:
Compatible with existing I.T. systems
User friendly
Trust accessible
The Solution
AiDA allows for the collection and reporting of information
on all aspects of the Aids and Adaptations process from request to completion.
